A mobile product with a planned handoff
Build an account-based member workflow, then ask the future maintainer to run the downloaded project. Keep store accounts and service ownership documented from the beginning.

Build web and mobile projects with AI agents and visual editing, with source export on paid plans. Draftbit separates platform fees from AI usage and requires a plan for backend continuity.
Consider Draftbit when source retention and web or mobile delivery are both important. Its export path is concrete, but agree on one-way repository ownership and backend continuity before treating the handoff as complete.
Draftbit’s current product combines AI agents with visual editing for web and mobile application projects. It offers a conventional-source path, and its documentation distinguishes source download from GitHub export by plan. This is a useful shortlist when a team wants visual iteration early but also expects a developer to maintain the product using ordinary tooling.
The current export FAQ explains an important limit: GitHub export pushes the project and does not pull external commits back, so two teams should not assume automatic two-way sync. It also separates the source from managed web publishing, mobile build services and a Draftbit-provisioned Supabase backend. Decide how the backend and deployment will continue, and whether Draftbit or the external repository owns future edits, before planning the handoff.
Suggested briefs to evaluate the workflow, based on documented capabilities.

Create a focused web interface and mobile companion over a chosen backend. Verify the same record and permission rules in both delivery targets.
Define whether the product is web, mobile or both, and identify who will own the backend and publishing accounts.
Start with one complete user journey and inspect the code and interface when correcting details.
Use separate accounts on the browser and real device, including authentication, invalid inputs and failed requests.
Use the eligible ZIP or GitHub export, document service configuration and choose a single source of truth for the next changes.
Each fact includes its scope and a link to the official documentation.
Draftbit currently describes AI-agent building and visual editing for web and mobile projects, with editable and exportable code.
ScopeCurrent product scope, not an independent benchmark of generated apps.
Draftbit documents web publishing and paid app-store delivery. A provisioned backend and publishing services remain separate from exported source.
ScopeEligible plan and third-party store/service configuration required.
The current FAQ documents ZIP export on Standard and higher, and GitHub push on Pro and higher. It explicitly says external commits are not pulled back into the project.
ScopeConventional source; backend service migration and one-way export require separate planning.
Current plans combine platform entitlements with your own supported AI account/key or optional Draftbit-funded credits. Include backend and store costs in the live budget.
ScopeProvider usage, editor seats and publishing/export gates are distinct billing dimensions.
Create a member task app with sign-in and private task history, then download the project and run it outside Draftbit.
This is a suggested evaluation task, not a test result. SiteKeen has not completed hands-on testing of Draftbit. Our recommendation combines official documentation with editorial judgment. How we review →
