A niche request marketplace
Model buyers, providers and requests with explicit ownership and acceptance rules. Begin with one completed transaction before adding billing or messaging.

Generate and refine database-driven applications with AI and a visual editor for screens, workflows and privacy rules. Bubble runs the app on its platform, so source portability needs a separate decision.
Shortlist Bubble for a product you intend to maintain in its visual platform. Make privacy rules, workload and the cost of a future rebuild explicit parts of the decision; data ownership alone does not provide a portable running app.
Bubble’s AI builder is a starting point inside a visual application platform. The project can then be maintained through its data, workflow and interface editor. That makes it a relevant option when a founder wants to understand and adjust application behavior visually rather than receive a repository they cannot maintain. The important review is the actual logic and privacy rules, not whether the first generated screen resembles the brief.
Bubble distinguishes ownership of your application design and user data from ownership of the underlying platform code. Its documentation says apps run on Bubble and cannot be exported as a conventional application codebase. Data export and a raw description of app logic can help a migration, but the logic would still need rebuilding elsewhere. Choose that maintenance arrangement deliberately before investing in a complex product.
Suggested briefs to evaluate the workflow, based on documented capabilities.

Let members create and follow records through a clear process. Check search constraints, private fields and administration actions with separate accounts.
List entities, relationships and which roles may access each field or action.
Use a prompt for one journey, then map each generated screen back to the underlying data and workflow.
Check validation, failure states and privacy rules before treating generated actions as production behavior.
Verify the live version with realistic records, and monitor which operations consume the platform’s workload allowance.
Each fact includes its scope and a link to the official documentation.
Bubble describes AI-generated applications that remain editable through its visual platform.
ScopePlatform capability; generated applications were not independently tested.
Apps run on the Bubble platform. A live deployment requires the appropriate paid project plan; web and mobile options have different conditions.
ScopeLive application delivery, distinct from free building and previewing.
Bubble documents user-data CSV/API access and a raw app-logic JSON export, while stating there is no conventional app codebase to export and run elsewhere.
ScopeA platform-dependent application; migration requires rebuilding application logic.
Check the plan for each project, workload units and overages, additional storage and plugin subscriptions rather than only the starting subscription.
ScopeCurrent billing dimensions; no normalized numerical price comparison.
Build a small service-request marketplace with a requester and provider, where only an accepted provider can see the customer’s private details.
This is a suggested evaluation task, not a test result. SiteKeen has not completed hands-on testing of Bubble. Our recommendation combines official documentation with editorial judgment. How we review →
